A South-East Clare family business says it’s determined to bounce back following a break-in causing thousands of euro of damage.
Following a ten-month refurbishment, Barron’s Spar in Blackwater was less than 24 hours into its grand reopening, when it was ransacked by vandals.

The incident caused extensive damage to the shop’s windows, shelving, tables, security and cash management systems and is currently being investigated by Gardaí.
Store Owner, Alannah Barron says the community support has been a serious comfort.
