Slight Drop In New Cars Sold In Clare This Year

There’s been a slight drop in the number of new cars sold in Clare in the first nine months of this year, compared to the same period last year.

Figures released by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that from January to September, there were 2,632 new vehicles sold here.

That’s down from 2,683 at this time last year, which marks a 1.9% decrease.

Almost all counties saw a decrease in new units sold so far this year, though the drop in Clare is much lower than the vast majority.
