The number of new cars sold in Clare this year continues to fall behind levels recorded last year.
The Society of the Irish Motor Industry says 139 new cars were registered here last month, compared with 184 in the same month in 2016.
It brings the total number of new cars sold in Clare this year to just under 1,900, which is 300 less than in the same four months of last year but still ahead of 2015 levels.
