Those living with cancer in Clare have been given a major boost, with news that Sláinte an Chláir is to extend its services.
The support service offers everything from counselling to nutritional advice to reflexology from their bases in Kilnamona and Raheen, to improve the lives of thousands of cancer patients and their families.
Now, plans are afoot for their team of volunteers to extend their opening hours into Friday and offer a mobile facility from next month for those unable to travel.
