The President of Ennis Chamber believes there’s a shortage in skilled workers across a number of industries in Clare.
It comes as new figures show the number of people claiming some form of unemployment benefit in Clare has dipped to a nine-year low, with just under 6,000 people now signing on in the county.

The largest drop was in Ennis, where 160 people left the dole queues, 42 signed off in East Clare, 34 in the north of the county and 18 in West Clare.
