Hundreds of homes and businesses across Shannon Town are without water today due to a major burst on the mains.
Crews from Clare County Council are currently isolating the burst and repairs will then be carried out, but are unlikely to be completed until late this evening or possibly tomorrow.

However they are working to try and temporary restore water to some areas, while a water tanker will be made available.
A number of businesses in Shannon Town have also contacted Clare FM to say their operating as normal.
