Shannon Residents To Hold Demonstration Highlighting “Overstrained” Bus Service

Shannon residents will take to the streets tomorrow to highlight a need for an improved public transport service in the town.

The demonstration, organised by Clare Ógra Sinn Féin, aims to highlight what they claim is an overstrained bue service, that isn’t equipeed to manage the ever expanding town it encompasses.

The party is calling on Bus Éireann to engage with them and have written to Transport Minister Eamon Ryan asking him to seriously consider to a local bus service linking Shannon Town and the Industrial Estate.
