A member of Shannon’s Filipino community says she immediately felt accepted when she moved to the Clare town.
Forty-two volunteers originating from the Phillipines joined Shannon Tidy Towns for a clean-up and weeding project from Ballycasey Roundabout to Shannon Airport recently to thank the town for the welcome they’ve received.

Paz Maglague moved to Shannon with her husband in 2001 and has three children as well as three grandchildren.
She says she was made to feel at home from day one.
