Shannon Airport has recorded a 10% increase in its passenger numbers.
New figures from the Central Statistics Office, show 633,511 people either departed or arrived at Shannon between April and June.

According to the CSO, it’s the highest ever passenger count recorded in Shannon for the second quarter of the year.
Routes to and from the UK, US, Portugal and Spain continue to be the most popular at Shannon, while the airport also handled over 410,000 tonnes of freight , up 8% on last year.
