Roisin Mulqueen Howard has been named the Clare Lidl Family Carer Of The Year for 2025.
The Ennis woman received the award in recognition of her dedication and compassion in her full time care for her daughter Taylor who lives with nonketotic hyperglycinemia.

Roisín also cares for her uncle, who has lung cancer, and was nominated for the award by her husband John.
She says it was a very emotional moment to receive word of her nomination.
