Gardaí Release Names Of Victims Of Fatal Parteen Crash

Gardaí have released the names of the two men who lost their lives in last week’s fatal collision in South East Clare.

30-year-old Patrick Hogan of Thomondgate in Limerick and Jonathan Healy from Kileely in Limerick, who was 24, both died in the single vehicle collision in Parteen in the early hours of Thursday last.

Details of the post-mortem results on their remains are not being released at this time for operational reasons.

A 12-year-old boy was also seriously injured in the crash and taken to St James’s Hospital in Dublin for treatment while another occupant of the car a 20-year-old man, was transferred to University Hospital Limerick.

Investigations into the collision are continuing.
