Clare Gardaí Urging Public To Exercise Caution On The Roads Over Bank Holiday Weekend

Clare Gardaí are reminding the public to allow allow plenty of time, plan their journeys and be rested as they take to the roads this bank holiday weekend.

A total of 155 people have lost their lives on Irish roads this year which is already higher than the total for 2022.

Of these, 38 or one in four were pedestrians and this trend indicates that pedestrian fatality figures for 2023 will be their highest in 15 years.
