A clear rise in youth participation is being hailed as hugely positive for the future of a major event in West Clare’s calendar.
The 81st Kildysart Agricultural Show takes place on Sunday with the programme kicking off from 10.30am.

There’s entrants from all over the country in the day’s competitions including the showjumping, The All-Ireland Two Year Old Filly Championship, Dog Show and Estuary Brood Mare Championship.
Kildysart Show Chairman Peter Donnellan says there’s extra special significance on the Mare Championship this year, with the trophy named in honour of his late brother.
