Rise In Air Traffic At Shannon Airport

Air traffic at Shannon Airport is continuing to soar.

The latest figures from the Irish Aviation Authority has confirmed a 2.8% rise in the level air traffic safely handled at the mid-west facility in March, compared to the same month in 2016.

With an average of 46 commercial daily movements, Shannon experienced the second highest level of growth in the country, following closely behind Dublin Airport where numbers are up by 2.9 per cent.
