New policies to support small schools are being welcomed in rural Clare.

Minister for Education Jan O'Sullivan has announced changes to the numbers of pupils required for a school to retain a teacher.
The issue has caused difficulties for schools in Flagmount and Labasheeda in recent years.
Clare Labour TD, Michael McNamara is welcoming the decision.
