There’s an end in sight for serious health and safety concerns in Scarriff, where incomplete works left footpaths in a precarious state.
Funding ran out to complete a number of works in the East Clare village last year, which has left a number of paths there in a treacherous condition, particularly at the hill of Scarriff.
Now, the project is to go out to tender again and work will resume in the coming weeks.
