Reilly says Halappanavar family consulted about inquiry

The Health Minister James Reilly says the family of Savita Halappanavar are being consulted before the terms of reference of the HSE inquiry into the 31 year old’s death, following a miscarriage, are finalised.

James Reilly went on to say that he hopes the incident does not dent confidence in the Irish health service, and pointed out that Ireland is regularly among the top three safest places in the world to have a baby.
