An Ennis-based retail lobby group says there's growing uncertainty in the retail sector.
It comes as the latest figures from Retail Excellence Ireland show weaking sales across a number of sectors, with business who rely on discretionary income particularly struggling.

Ladies Fashion is down 5% and Footwear has fallen over 6% year on year, while there's also a decline in Hot Beverage sales – a sector which is a strong indicator of consumer activity – down close to 6% in September.
