Rally Organised In Ennis In The Wake Of Aer Lingus’ Cabin Crew Base Closure At Shannon Airport

A Clare based organisation is calling for the government to intervene amid fears of a loss of connectivity at Shannon Airport, following a decision by Aer Lingus to close their cabin crew base there

It comes as the Save our Shannon group or SOS held a rally in Ennis town centre earlier today. The gathering was limited to 15 people due to Covid-19 restrictions but despite the small crowd, was deemed a success

Chairman of the Save Our Shannon group, Denis Vaughan, says with the right supports, Shannon Airport can lead the way with the recovery of the Mid West post Covid-19
