Efforts are underway to revamp Sixmilebridge’s longest street.
Sixmilebridge Town Team has raised concerns over the condition of George’s Street in the town centre which contains a number of derelict buildings.

The group is seeking grant funding to give the area a facelift, after previously being unsuccessful under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
Spokesperson Alex Wyatt says they’re determined to improve the street.
