It comes as Lidl has unveiled its designs for its planned Killaloe location.
In documents submitted to Clare County Council, Lidl has estimated the store will generate over €18.8m by 2029.
In a Retail Impact Assessment , MKO Consultants stated the development would serve a significant catchment area in both Clare and Tipperary.
The German Supermarket Giant is planning to build a 2,500 sq foot discount food store and off-licence at Shantraud, Killaloe.
If granted, it will pave the way for the retailer’s sixth Clare store.
Clare County Council is due to make a decision on the plans by November 24th.
