A non-profit social enterprise in Clare say they’re honoured to have received a visit by the President of Ireland.
Catherine Connolly visited Common Knowledge in Kilfenora last Friday, where she met with a number of students, visited the workshop and was presented with a small handmade wood-turned gift created by Martin Doyle, one of the course teachers.
Common Knowledge offers courses, accommodation and community events to foster self-sufficiency, while also representing general shared understanding about local life, such as the beauty of the Burren and Wild Atlantic Way.
Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Common Knowledge, Fionn Kidney says the President’s visit was a recognition of the great work being carried out by the entire team there.
