The Garda Commissioner is to visit Ennis and address this county’s Joint Policing Committee this afternoon.
Drew Harris is expected to make a presentation to members, along with taking questions about policing matters in Clare.
It’s believed a timeline for the proposed merger of the Clare and Tipperary Garda Divisions, which is to have its headquarters in Ennis, will be outlined.
