Shannon town could be in line for a face lift, as plans are being put in place to enhance biodiversity in the towns public areas.
It comes as Shannon Tidy Towns are holding a public consultaion meeting by zoom this evening at 7.30pm to outline plans to create a Shannon Town Amenity Grassland Biodiversity Action Plan.
The Heritage Council has provided funding to complete such works as improving the towns green areas, developing natural meadows and play areas for children and planting trees.
