Ambitious plans have been tabled for a new housing estate in West Clare’s capital.
Keogh Homes LTD is seeking permission to build over 40 new homes in Kilrush.
The development would involve 42 new properties along the Cappagh Road and Soldier’s Hill in Kilrush.
This would consist of 18 four-bed units, 18 three-beds homes, and six two-beds, four of which are destined to be apartments.
The developer in this case has also struck a Part V Planning Agreement with the council, meaning up to eight of the properties can be used for social or affordable housing.
Provision is also made for 99 parking spaces across the 2 hectare site.
Clare County Council is due to make a ruling by February 13th, with public submissions closing on January 23rd.
