Pieta says demand for it’s service is continuing to grow day by day.
The charity is holding it’s annual Darkness Into Light event in the early hours of tomorrow morning in the hope of raising vital funds for its free services, with six communities in Clare hosting walks this year.
Pieta supported more than 100 people in Clare last year through 804 hours of free therapy, including helping people experiencing sucidal ideation or thoughts of self-harm, as well as families bereaved by suicide.
Clare-based Pieta Crisis Helpline therapist, Jo, has been telling Clare FM’s Morning Focus that their service is an essential support for many people in every day life, and that Darkness Into Light helps to continue the provision vital care.
