Pent-Up Demand Among Contributing Factors In Travel Cost Hikes

A Clare travel agent believes pent up demand post covid is contributing to a rise in travel costs this summer.

The Irish Tourism Confederation has warned that this year will be a challenging year for the sector on a number of fronts.

The price of oil is expected to impact on the price of flights, along with interest rate hikes, supply shortages and the general increase in business costs.
