Parents Continue To Struggle With Back To School Costs

Almost a quarter of parents here will be forced to deny their child certain school items this year as they struggle to cope with costs.

A new survey from the Irish League of Credit Unions shows that the average price of sending a child to school is now over €1,200.

It’s also claimed those in rural parts of Clare bear the brunt of the expenses, as it costs more for school transport.
