Overcrowding Worsening At UHL With INMO Recording 107 On Trolleys Today

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to climb.

The latest figures from the INMO show there were 107 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 51 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figures is 37 more than the next busiest facility and comes on a day when 647 patients were waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
