Overcrowding At UHL Continues To Fall

Overcrowding at the region’s main hospital continues to fall.

There are 37 patients waiting for a bed at University Hospital Limerick today according to the INMO – down from 39 yesterday.

25 of those waiting to be seen in Dooradoyle are in the emergency department, with the facility remaining the most overcrowded in the country.

It comes on a day when 195 patients are waiting to be admitted at hospitals nationwide.
