The OPW has approved funding for much needed flood defence works in Quilty.
Thirty-six thousand euro has been allocated for Cloughaninchy to develop draft flood protection plans for a full planning application.

Residents are hoping that work has been carried out before winter, while Quilty West is expecting a decision from the OPW within the coming months on their own application.
