One person has been taken to hospital following a road crash in South East Clare.
The single-vehicle collision happened on the Shannon to Sixmilebridge road this morning.
The alarm was raised shortly before half past eleven this morning after a car left the road and collided with a wall on the R471 at Newpark.
Gardaí, units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Shannon station, and National Ambulance Service paramedics attended the scene.
The injured person was assessed by paramedics before being transported to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be serious.
Fire crews put emergency traffic management measures in place to maintain a safe flow of traffic past the scene.
The road was later closed for a short time to allow the vehicle to be recovered and debris and engine fluids to be cleared, but has since re-opened.
