A new amenity in a North Clare town is expected to usher in a new era of economic prosperity while alleviating traffic congestion and enhancing the experience of visitors.
A long-awaited 48-space car park which will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, has been unveiled at Monastery Lane in Ennistymon.

It comes after years of delays owing to the presence of bats in a derelict building on the site which has since been demolished following the relocation of the creatures.
Ennistymon Fianna Fáil Councillor Shane Talty says it’ll be particularly welcome for local traders.
