North Clare Residents wont be hit by digital blackout

Residents in Ennistymon and it’s environs can breathe a sigh of relief after it was confirmed that they WON’T be left in the dark following the switch-over to digital television.

Separate upgrades will also benefit Ballina, Co. Tipperary – if these had not occurred, then residents in the areas affected would have had to invest in more expensive satellite dishes or subscription television services.

Ennistymon Senator Martin Conway felt this could have ‘destroyed’ the town’s vista.
