No Closure Following O’Higgins Report

A woman whose case is covered by the O'Higgins report says the commission hasn't given her any closure. 

The Justice Minister published the full report yesterday – saying victims of crime were not well served by the Garda force in the past.

The investigation assessed the handling of the case of Mary Lynch – a taxi driver who was violently attacked by Gerry McGrath. 

Mr McGrath then went on to kill Sylvia Roche Kelly, while allowed out on bail. 

Ms Lynch, has welcomed the publication of the document, but says she'd like to see the person responsible held accountable.
