A Clare academic says a two-state solution must result from Israel’s trial at the Hague.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has described South Africa’s ongoing case at the International Court of Justice accusing Israel of genocide against the Palestinian people as “far from clear cut”.

Israeli attacks on Gaza meanwhile have continued unabated overnight with 67 killed and dozens wounded in the north, centre and south of the territory.
