New Status Orange Warning Issued For Clare

A new status orange weather warning for low temperatures and ice has been issued for Clare and 18 other counties.

Met Eireann say temperatures are expected to drop below minus five degrees tomorrow night, leading to severe frost and ice.

The advisory has also been issued for neighbouring counties of Limerick, Galway, Tipperary and 14 others across Leinster and Connacht.

The warning is in place from 6pm tomorrow evening until 12 noon on Thursday, with a status yellow warning remaining in place for the entire country until Friday afternoon.
