Shannon Group says the new National Planning Framework is critically important to this region, and represents a significant opportunity for the MidWest
The Framework will provide a strategic plan for the development of Ireland up to 2040, and Shannon believes it can be used to ease pressure on Dublin, and grow other areas.

Shannon Group, which includes the Airport and a Commercial Properties arm, has worked with other regional stakeholders to make a joint submission on the plan.
It’s Deputy CEO Mary Considine is hopeful their views will be taken on board.
