New mortgage lender seeks to expand Shannon workforce

A new lender entering the Irish Mortgage market is hoping to expand on it's workforce in Shannon and Dublin by the end of this year.

Australian company Pepper is launching a new suite of products aimed at first time buyers, those switching lenders and buy-to-let mortgages.

Over 200 people are employed at the company's office at Westpark in Shannon with the remainder of its 400 strong workforce operating out of Dublin – that figure is expected to grow to 450 in the coming months.

It's hoped its entrance in the Irish market will lead to lower rates from other lenders.
