Clare’s County Town will have a new Mayor sworn in today.
Fianna Fail Councillor Clare Colleran Molloy will take over in the role from Fine Gaels Paul Murphy.

Councillor Murphy has completed his 12 month term with the Chain Of Office during which time, the county town was voted Ireland’s Friendliest, hosted a second successive Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann and won Gold at the Tidy Towns Awards.
