Plans have been submitted for a new housing development on the Clare-Limerick border.
More than 20 homes could soon come on stream in Ardnacrusha.
The application submitted by Republic Land Development LTD involves the development of 24 houses in total across a 2.7 hectare site in Demesne, Ardnacrusha.
The properties would include a mix of four and three bed dwellings, with all bar two to be two-storey homes.
The developer has also struck a Part V planning agreement in principle with the council, meaning up to 4 of the homes will be used for social and affordable housing.
Additionally, the development would see the creation of 62 new parking spaces in the area.
Clare County Council is accpeting submissions on the plans until March 22nd, with a decision to be made on April 12th.
