The Department of Housing is set to grant approval in principle for 12 new disability and age-friendly homes in Ennis this week.
The social housing development will be managed by Saint Vincent De Paul and will be fully comprised of two-bedroom apartments, located on Clon Road.

The project will be funded under the Government’s Capital Assistance Scheme.
Clare Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe is hopeful the homes will be delivered in an efficient timeframe.
