National Honours For Clare County Council Engineers

Clare County Council’s engineers have been recognised for tackling major issues like flooding and the housing crisis.

The council’s Rural Development Directorate has been named runner-up in the Local Authority Engineering Initiative Award category of the Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards 2017.

Aside from work carried out during recent flooding problems across the county, engineers have also been working on vacant and derelict properties and depleted rural populations.
