Multi-Billion Dollar Investment For Ennis-Founded Aircraft Firm

An aircraft leasing firm founded by an Ennisman has received a multi-billion dollar investment.

Japan’s ORIX Aviation Systems is to take a 30% stake in Irish-headquartered Avolon, which was founded by Domhnall Slattery.

The deal is worth around €1.9 billion or $2.2 billion, and values the company at $23.7 billion.
