Motorists throughout Clare are urged to drive with care this lunchtime after heavy rain led to issues in several areas.

Heavy rain overnight and into this morning led to difficult driving conditions thruoghout Clare this morning.
While conditions have improved somewhat, issues remain, including on two of the county’s busiest roads.
Clare County Council says the N67 Kilrush-Lahinch Road is closed at Caherfeenick after heavy rains led to an accumulation of standing water.
Diversions are in place via the R483 to Cree and the R484 to Doonbeg.
Meanwhile, there is also standing water at Kilnamona on the Ennis-Ennistymon Road, althoguh this is passable.
Issues were reported throughout Clare this morning, and spot flooding could remain in some areas.
A low-level status yellow rain alert remains in place until 4:00.
Meanwhile, due to coastal fog, visibility at the Cliffs of Moher is poor and officials there are advising visitors to defer their visits to another day if possible.
