More Than 100 Waiting For Beds At UHL Says INMO

The number of admitted patients waiting for beds at the region’s main hospital has surpassed 100 once again today.

The latest Trolley Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 102 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning.

That’s 36 more than at the next busiest facilities, Galway and Cork University Hospitals.

Overall, 610 admitted patients were waiting for beds at hospitals across the country this morning, according to the INMO.
