It’s claimed more emergency accommodation is needed in Clare amid record local homeless numbers.
For the first time, the number of adults recorded as homeless in this county has exceeded 100 according to the Department of Housing’s report for January.

According to Clare County Council, meanwhile, a further 73 children are living in homeless shelters here.
Campaigner Fiona Faulkes who runs a mobile shower service for the homeless in Ennis has been telling Clare FM’s Daragh Dolan that she’s also seeing an increase in presentations across all demographics.
