Modified Bins For Re-turn Plastic Bottles And Cans To Be Rolled Out In Clare

Modified bins with surrounds installed for Re-turn logo plastic bottles and cans will be rolled out in Clare.

The specially designed surrounds will allow people to leave their containers for others to take and bring back.

Following an ‘effective’ pilot programme in Dublin City Centre, Re-turn, the operator of Ireland’s Deposit Return Scheme, is now expanding the initiative nationally.

The programme will be extended to Clare, Galway City, Meath, Carlow and Westmeath and further areas of Dublin in the coming months to facilitate ‘on-the-go’ recycling.
