Families earning up to €70,000 a year will be entitled to the same emergency flood funding as those on social welfare.

A day after Simon Coveney's visit to Clare, other Ministers have been visiting flood hit areas in Waterford, Wexford, and Limerick today assessing the damage caused by recent storms.
They've been reviewing the clean up operation and speaking with local people who've been worst affected.
It's reported that the government is estimating the total cost of the damage to be in excess of €100m.
