A women’s group from Miltown Malbay is extending a hand of friendship to asylum seekers in Clare.
Members of a local book club regularly visit the direct provision centre in Knockalisheen in Meelick and have decided to take the residents on holiday in the new year.

They have seen a huge outpouring of support, with the donation of a bus and accommodation in West Clare for the group so far.
